Happy, healthy St. Patrick's Day!

Here's a healthy way to eat some green this St. Patrick's Day!

Avocado Deviled Eggs

  • 4 eggs, hard boiled
  • 1 avocado
  • ½ teaspoon Wildtree Dill Dip
  • Alfalfa sprouts for garnish
Peel the hard boiled eggs, cut in half length-wise. Carefully empty the yolks and scoop out the avocado flesh into a small food processor or hand blender.  Add the Dill Dip. Puree until smooth. Spoon (or pipe) the mixture back into the egg white halves. Garnish with sprouts, and eat right away.

Quck Healthy Tip

Use Wildtree's Butter flavored Grapeseed oil to make popcorn!  Rather than consume the chemicals and preservatives found in most microwaveable popcorn, get regular old fashioned kernals, and pop in a large pot.  The butter flavored oil will give a nice buttery flavor to the popcorn without the guilt of real butter!
Enjoy!

Pasta Alfredo without the guilt!

Like Alfredo sauce but not the extra pounds that comes with it?  Try Wildtree's Alfredo Extordinare.  All natural, no preservatives, and it still tastes great!
-Prepare your choice of pasta (I use whole grain).
-Take 5 tablespoons of butter, and 1/2 a cup of milk.
-Heat and whisk together the milk and butter until blended.
-Add 1/2 a cup of Wildtree's Alfredo to blended milk and butter, stir and bring to a simmer.
-Mix pasta, sauce, and anything else you're like to add to the mix!  I usually add veggies, but this dish is great as a side to grilled chicken.
*To make the sauce even healthier, use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter as a substitute, and 1%, Skim, soy, rice or almond milk.
Super easy!  Enjoy!

Healthy "fried" pasta!

Here's a recipe that's really quick, easy, tasty, AND healthy!  Have any leftover pasta in the fridge?  Throw it in a skillet with some of Wildtree's Butter Flavored Grape Seed Oil and your favorite seasonings and saute for 5 to 10 minutes, until the pasta has reached the crispiness you like.  You can add sauce if you want but you don't need to.  It tastes great on it's own!  I sometimes throw in some broccoli or zucchini too.  You can make it yours!  Enjoy!

This quote is how I feel about the obesity epidemic and health crisis.

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."

So long as not enough people care enough to do anything about this, we will all continue to get fatter and have more health problems!
